Dear Bill, I felt that only completing the survey with favorable scores wouldn't do justice to the job that your company and installers did. The scheduled day of installation was early in the month of October. Even though this was in the middle of the fall season we had a huge snow storm that day. I wasn't able to be home during the installation but had made arrangements to have the house open for the installers. After seeing 10 inches of lake effect snow fall during the day while at work, I was sure your company would be calling to reschedule the installation. When I got home that evening I was amazed when I pulled in my driveway and saw most of the upstairs windows already installed. The installers were just wrapping up for the day and said they'd be back the next day to complete the job. They were disappointed that they hadn't gotten more done because they had to stop a couple of times because it was snowing so hard. Anyone would expect a mess due to the snow being tracked in and out while completing the installation on the inside. This wasn't the case. I don't know if the guys changed their shoes mopped and vacuumed afterwards. One thing is for sure though, there wasn't a trace that they were ever there. The windows are just AWESOME! The ease of cleaning and operation of the windows is great. It's amazing how much of a difference the windows have made. I would recommend your company to anyone looking for a home improvement project. Your honesty, knowledge and quality of workmanship is present from the initial estimate to final installation. | I waited to write to you to see if the windows were going to keep the house warmer. I was very pleased that when the temp droped to 41 it stayed 68 inside without the woodburner going! We were very pleased with the workers. When we had concerns or questions they would take the time to explain what they were going to be doing. Cleaning them is a breeze. | It's a real pleasure to hear sounds from the west of my house and feel a breeze through the rooms (particularly this little computer area) now that I can actually open windows! Having lived with malfunctioning screens for four years, this is such a treat...and I'm certain that I'll enjoy the windows just as much when winter blows in this year. I hope to replace the other eight windows prior to winter, as we discussed. Todd and Billy told me that they were the window crew exclusively, so it would be a reunion of sorts to have them work here again. Both guys were extremely polite, obviously hardworking, and quite personable. Believe me, I've hired plumbers and carpenters to repair things on my house in Buffalo, and generally it's been a bad experience: Punctuality is not terrible important, workmanship is sometimes questionable, and unless I'm there to supervise, lunch breaks can take hours. Not so with Todd and Billy. You have two very dedicated employees who take pride in what they do. I felt confident in leaving them whem I had errands to run and shopping to do. Quite different from my Buffalo experience! I don't remember how we met, but I'm glad that I decided to go with your company. | Carol and I are more then completely satisfied with the job you did on the windows. The house looks absolutely fantastic and to be able to open the windows is great. Your installers were very professional and did a great job. I was amazed on how quickly the old windows came out and the new ones went in. There was absolutely no mess anywhere. I figured Carol and I would have to come home and clean up and we didn't have to do a damn thing. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Give those two guys a thumbs up....... We are planning on doing the upstairs windows next year and the job is yours. Will keep you posted in that one come spring. | I would like to thank you and your employees at Apparent Choice for the work you recently did, installing new windows and a sliding glass patio door at my home. The windows are wonderful, they bring so much more light into my room. They are so much easier to clean then the original 1940's windows I had. The advice you gave me on putting in a slider window opens up my back utility room so much as I now have an unobstructive view of my deck, backyard and woods. The sliding glass door that was put in to replace a window is so much more convenient to step out onto the deck. Your workmen arrived on time the day they were scheduled, worked quietly and efficiently, cleaning up as they went along. I also appreciate that you personally came to the house to check up on the work and made sure instructions were understood as to how I wanted it done. The workers that came to install the gutters also did a good job too. Your receptionist Joy that I spoke with on the phone a few times was always pleasant and prompt at answering my questions or finding someone who could.
